Being that each VELOVOLT e-bike is assembled and tested to order, we do not offer refunds on bike purchases.
However, our bikes come with a 2 year Frame warranty, and 1-year warranty on the Battery, Charger, electronic brake cut outs, electric components, and all other non-wearing mechanical components.
Our warranty excludes any damage or defects arising from abnormal use, incorrect maintenance or lack of maintenance, prolonged exposure to liquid or moisture, accidental damage, or non- compliance with recommendations outlined in the accompanying manual.
Additionally, damage arising from external factors, such as excessive exposure to the elements, lightning strikes, shocks are not covered by the warranty.
We also do not cover modified parts; spokes, graphics or paint, and varnish.
While we do not guarantee or imply any time frame for repair or assessment within the warranty period, we will ensure that we will do everything possible to ensure you're riding your VELOVOLT e-bike as soon as possible.
In the unlikely event of a battery failure, we require the battery to be sent directly to us for technical assessment. If during the 12 month warranty period the battery capacity is proven less than 70% of capacity, then a replacement will be issued. We use BATTERYTESTER test equipment to evaluate battery condition and capacity with traceable data of all statistics for easy evaluation.
All other items on our website can be returned up to 14 days after purchase for a full refund (less any delivery charges) as long as the item is still sealed/unused and is of resalable condition. This includes no damage to packaging. All spare parts are supplied in high strength sealed bags and can be returned if unused/unopened. All return costs are non-refundable.
All warranty claims will only be assessed with your proof of purchase from VELOVOLT.

Exclusions from Warranty
Contractual warranty exclusions include damage or defects arising from; abnormal use, lack of routine maintenance, prolonged exposure to moisture or liquid, accidental damage, or non-compliance with recommendations as defined in the accompanying e-bike manual.
- Damage caused by incorrect maintenance
- Damage caused by external factors; lightning, current surges, short circuit, shocks etc
- Paint, Laquer, or Bike graphics
- Modifications of electrical system and components.
- Other modifications such as additional items not included in the purchase
- Wearing parts such as tyres, brake cables, handlebar grips, brake pads etc.
- Damage caused by excessive exposure to the elements (i.e corrosion arising from not being stored indoors)
The warranty is non-transferable. failure to follow maintenance guidelines outlined in the manual could void the warranty.
